Construction of our landmark scheme in Ealing has now been completed.
70 Hanger Lane is a unique 64 apartment, co-living building, conveniently situated for transport and other amenities.
The contemporarily designed building spans 9 floors with the upper floors, roof terraces & balconies enjoying panoramic views across London’s skyline.
All apartments are fully furnished with en-suite shower rooms, private kitchens & HD internet enabled TVs. Great attention has been given to the communal areas and the development has a very high percentage of shared space. Resident’s areas include a fully equipped gym, cinema room, laundry room, break-out lounges and kitchen & dining facilities.
Ben Nathan, Construction Director of the Group said:
“The building features a 3-level basement with secure integral bike store accessed by a dedicated lift.
7 apartments have been designated as wheelchair accessible and there is a lift to all floors.
The development has air source heat pumps, air conditioning and recirculation ventilation systems and provides residents with the most energy efficient and ecologically sustainable environment. There is high speed internet throughout.
The site was originally designated as Metropolitan Open Land (MOL) and planning took 18 months. This involved extensive consultations with Ealing Council and the office of the Mayor for London in order to satisfy Greater London Authority requirements and obtain consent. We believe the scheme is the first co-living schemes to have obtained approval by the Mayor of London and, due to its MOL status, the design was subject to significant scrutiny.
A section 106 and offsite affordable payment of approaching £2.4 million has been made towards local affordable housing and infrastructure in the London Borough of Ealing.”
Marketing and letting of the apartments is underway with lets being managed on an “all bills inclusive” basis by Group company, Urban Living. Tenancy terms are flexible with agreements from 3 to 12 months or longer.
The development follows our successful construction of 55 co-living units at 15 Hanger Lane that completed in 2021. We now manage 119 apartments via our inhouse management team and are in the process of acquiring our 3rd co living site.
